Date Ideas for a Memorable Date

You've asked that special someone out and they said yes! That's great, what a relief. You've set a time and a place. The usual? Yes. You'll pick her up, take her to dinner and make some small talk. If your really thinking ahead you might even go for a brief walk after dinner and maybe have a drink. Sounds good? No, not really. As far as a good date idea goes, this one is more than used up. The dinner date is
not necessarily a bad idea, but it should be incorporated into something far more romantic.

Why be like everyone else out there? A first date, second date, one hundredth date should not be a repeat of the ones before it. Nothing says romance like taking a little initiative to come up with something special. You want to make a lasting impression if this is a first date, so be different. Do something that separates you from the rest of the lug heads out there.

If you make it past the first date with flying colors you can't rest on your laurels just yet. Actually you should never rest on your laurels no matter the situation. Coming up with good date ideas is a never ending process and if you approach them the right way it doesn't have to be a difficult thing. You don't have to keep coming up with more elaborate ideas that cost more and more, just be different with each one. It's the subtle changes that will make the biggest impression, not the big, elaborate costly ones. After all, you can only spend so much on dates before you start to go broke. Sometimes the cheap and easy date idea is the most memorable one.

Why? Because a date should be about you and the person you are with. It's a time to connect with that special someone about who you are and what you are about. You are letting someone into your inner sanctum and hopefully making a lasting connection. Letting all the superficial-ness of life intrude on that can turn your date into a less than pleasurable memory.

This is not to say that all your date ideas should be cheap. In fact what you are trying to achieve is actually quite simple. How much you spend or where you go or what you do is simply an extension of who you are and how important that special someone is to you. Show them the real you and chances are your date will be a complete success.
